PRIVATEEY's Partnership Model Produces Massive Visa Volume
EY is not a single clean employer string in the public records. This profile follows the U.S. partnership and affiliate boundary: Ernst & Young and EY U.S. employer-name variants where DOL rows identify the partnership or its U.S. affiliates.
Across FY2020 through FY2025, those rows add up to 62,773 Labor Condition Applications. Including the FY2026 partial-year rows, the total reaches 64,399. FY2025 alone accounts for 10,439 LCA filings.
The USCIS series shown here totals 9,980 approvals across the available approval rows. Where FY2025 rows are initial approvals only, the page labels them that way. LCA filings are not headcount, hired workers, or proof that a specific American worker was replaced.
59 total denials across all years (0.1% of filings) - too small to display on this chart.
The EY Name Variants Matter
Ernst & Young U.S. LLP dominates the count, but the smaller EY variants still belong in the same public footprint because they represent the same professional-services machine.
The peak year in the full-year series is FY2023, with 13,434 filings. FY2026 currently shows 1,626 rows and should be read as a partial-year value, not as a final decline.
This site no longer charts H-1B filings as a share of workforce. The ratio can blur U.S. employees, global employees, contractors, and offshore delivery headcount into one denominator.
Rows with a disclosed U.S.-employee denominator available here: 0. The analysis now uses filings, approvals, wage, worksite, and title concentration instead.
Consulting Cuts Make the Volume Salient
Public reporting says EY US cut about 3,000 jobs in 2023, mostly in consulting. That is workforce context beside the filing counts, not immigration causation.
The EY layoff context matters because the filing volume is not marginal; it sits beside a consulting workforce story that affected thousands of workers.
The strongest claim is coexistence: a large consulting visa pipeline alongside reported staff reductions.
Professional Services, Technical Work
The leading occupation is Accountants and Auditors, with 17,348 filings, and the leading title is Computer Systems Analysts; this is where consulting demand becomes labor-market demand.
For FY2025, the average H-1B wage in the filtered salary extract is $151,183, compared with an average prevailing-wage benchmark of $107,636. That is a $43,547 spread over the legal wage floor.
The Big Office Markets Lead
New York, Ny is the largest worksite cluster with 9,333 rows, with other major consulting markets close behind.
EY's Green-Card Layer Extends the Relationship
EY also shows 2,788 PERM labor-certification cases from FY2020 through FY2025, including 288 in FY2025.
PERM records are a different process from H-1B petitions, but they matter because the sponsorship timeline can tie a worker to an employer for years.

Caveat: LCA filings are not H-1B petitions or hired workers. FY2025 USCIS hub rows are initial approvals only, so denial rates are not computed for those rows.
